This packaged is designed to have the dietitian work with the athlete for 2-3 months prior to race event. 60-minute consultation via HIPAA compiant video conferencing to assessment needs for race day nutrition. Includes the following:
-provide fueling strategies and guidelines
-includes “gut training” help for those with sensitive GI tracts needing help tolerating nutrition on bike and run, fluid and electrolyte recommendations
- help with what to eat and drink the week before an event
Includes two 30-minute follow-up sessions to monitor progress as well as unlimited email access. Should be started at least 2 months prior to race event and ideally after an initial assessment.
Includes all of the above packages as listed below, providing a 3 month supported nutrition plan. This can be most beneficial for athletes struggling with weight issues or GI issues on race day.
