A complete assessment of nutrition requirements specific to the athlete including dietary analysis, supplement evaluation, training assessment with determination of 1-2 areas of focus. 60 minute consultation to review assessment. Ongoing e-mail support for 1 month after assessment.
2 Follow-up Sessions of 30 minutes to be scheduled within 6 months of the initial assessment. Review of nutrition and previous modifications. Make additional recommendations to fine-tune goals. Adjustment of nutrition based on changes in goals and/or training.
The dietitian will work with the athlete 2-3 months (or longer) prior to goal race or event. A 60-minute consultation to assess needs for race day nutrition will be performed to include the following:
-Provide fueling strategies and guidelines for endurance event
-“Gut training” guidleline, which will be especially helpful for those with sensitive GI tracts needing help tolerating nutrition on bike and run
- Fluid and electrolyte recommendations
- Nutrition and hydration the week before an event
- Recovery nutrition
This package Includes two 30-minute follow-up sessions to monitor progress as well as ongoing email support.

Assessment of fluid and electrolyte needs with the help of the Gatorade GX Sweat Patch. Athlete should already have nutrition preferences for race down pat or have gone through the Race Week Nutrition Assessment. This 30 minute assessment will take the guess work out of how much fluid and sodium an athlete needs on race day and how to translate that with their current nutrition products.
